Biography
Charlie Burket is an audio engineer and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, violin, banjo, and mandolin) based in Boston MA, formerly Rochester, MN. He plays and writes music in Ringpop! and plays live with a number of other groups, most frequently Park National and Kieran Rhodes. He does mixing and mastering work for Zach Zurn of Carpet Booth Studios, and apprenticed under Brett Romnes of The Barbershop Studios. He has a dual degree in music production and performance from Berklee College of Music, and was awarded scholarships from both departments.
Charlie approaches every musical situation with an open mind and an intent to understand. He uses his versatile skillset to appropriately create in any stylistic context. He is consistent in his preparation, work ethic, communication, timeliness, and musical quality. He loves and thrives on feedback, and is a supportive team player, both personally and professionally. When placed in difficult situations, he is adaptable and excellent at finding realistic solutions while still maintaining a positive vibe.
